Get ready for the best Friends reunion ever as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow perform a Jimmy Kimmel skit
We’ve been patiently waiting over a decade for a Friends reunion and now, thanks to Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, it’s actually happened.
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal.
The hit sitcom bowed off our screens in May 2004 and we’ve been inundated with fruitless reunion rumours ever since – that is until Jimmy Kimmel answered our prayers and waded in.
In what is most definitely the BEST Friends reunion ever to have happened (yes, better than when Jen and Court went on a night out and we all got too excited, better than whenthey then hung out with Matthew Perry and better than when Lisa and Matt Le Blanc met up), Jennifer, Courteney and Lisa return to Monica’s apartment and perform a hilarious skit in which Jimmy reads lines as Ross.
Where were Joey and Chandler?
‘They’re dead,’ ‘Ross’ tells the girls. ‘Marcel the monkey bit them and gave them monkey rabies and they died.’
*sob*
Yes, the script might not have been written by Marta Kauffman and David Crane, it might be a tiny bit stilted and Joey, Chandler and the real Ross might be missing, but this is as close as we’re going to get and we couldn’t love it more.
