Tree worship  means a great methodology and tradition in our culture , society . Tree have played an important role in many of the world's religions, culture , myths . 

People of different part of the world have each own faith and variety of their faith in different trees. Like Banyan ,Peepal ,Tulsi Plant are featured in  Hindusism . The Christmas Tree is the symbol of knowledge of judaism and Christinity ,Bodhi tree is for Budhism . If we follow our tradition and culture then there will be no deforestation .

The lady who born for planting trees and plants named "Maria Aunty", people called them "Van Pari"

no one actually know about her ,about her past ,from where she came. Some believes that she is divorced lady aged 45 years and started planting since their childhood.She is pretty ,beautiful looks like a real angel . Her personality increased by her great effort to our society and nature .All love them and respect them as a real mother and i personally tell she is sent by god to plant more and more trees and stop deforestation . I influenced by the our great nature's mother , once she told me that no one have to pay for our nature ,so why do we cut plants and trees and announces to work few hours in a week for our mother "EARTH" and said feel after that i started my job under the guidence  for and feel this is the best donation to our nature ,our world ,our earth. some times i dream , feel every one around the whole world is going to award me and praise my work  and again i recharge more than previous one .Maria aunty  has given me a small task that you will have to plant each part of the world ,i asked how can i do by myself ? Then she replied you , i did a silly mistake i started planting alone but my son go and make world wide community awake each individuals and tell them to share plant more and more and stop  deforestation , plant more and more trees to make our world green.

This is a big did and for this you need a strong team it's means you will have to aware each individuals and advice them to plant at least one tree in a birth and make our world greenish.

So dear friend when you read this start plantation  and share to your known person and build our nature green and eco-friendly system . Do this by yourself don't aspect anyone will come to help you .only think i take air as a breath so it's our duty to plant more and more trees nd make world greenish.

Living creature is totally dependent on trees they can't take a single step without trees,Trees are the major resource of their food , air they breath , clean the soil , saves us from noise pollution and  many more thing in one word we can say "Trees are our mother" save the tree .Plant more and more trees hey world stop deforestation and Make World Greenish.

1. Trees Produce Oxygen

Let's face it, we could not exist as we do if there were no trees. A mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year. What many people don't realize is the forest also acts as a giant filter that cleans the air we breath.

2. Trees Clean the Soil

The term phytoremediation is a fancy word for the absorption of dangerous chemicals and other pollutants that have entered the soil. Trees can either store harmful pollutants or actually change the pollutant into less harmful forms. Trees filter sewage and farm chemicals, reduce the effects of animal wastes, clean roadside spills and clean water runoff into streams.

3. Trees Control Noise Pollution

Trees muffle urban noise almost as effectively as stone walls. Trees, planted at strategic points in a neighborhood or around your house, can abate major noises from freeways and airports.

4. Trees Slow Storm Water Runoff

Flash flooding can be dramatically reduced by a forest or by planting trees. One Colorado blue spruce, either planted or growing wild, can intercept more than 1000 gallons of water annually when fully grown. Underground water-holding aquifers are recharged with this slowing down of water runoff.

5. Trees Are Carbon Sinks

To produce its food, a tree absorbs and locks away carbon dioxide in the wood, roots and leaves. Carbon dioxide is a global warming suspect. A forest is a carbon storage area or a "sink" that can lock up as much carbon as it produces. This locking-up process "stores" carbon as wood and not as an available "greenhouse" gas.

6. Trees Clean the Air

Trees help cleanse the air by intercepting airborne particles, reducing heat, and absorbing such pollutants as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide. Trees remove this air pollution by lowering air temperature, through respiration, and by retaining particulates.

7. Trees Shade and Cool

Shade resulting in cooling is what a tree is best known for. Shade from trees reduces the need for air conditioning in summer. In winter, trees break the force of winter winds, lowering heating costs. Studies have shown that parts of cities without cooling shade from trees can literally be "heat islands" with temperatures as much as 12 degrees Fahrenheit higher than surrounding areas.

8. Trees Act as Windbreaks

During windy and cold seasons, trees located on the windward side act as windbreaks. A windbreak can lower home heating bills up to 30% and have a significant effect on reducing snow drifts. A reduction in wind can also reduce the drying effect on soil and vegetation behind the windbreak and help keep precious topsoil in place.

9. Trees Fight Soil Erosion

Erosion control has always started with tree and grass planting projects. Tree roots bind the soil and their leaves break the force of wind and rain on soil. Trees fight soil erosion, conserve rainwater and reduce water runoff and sediment deposit after storms.

10. Trees Increase Property Values

Real estate values increase when trees beautify a property or neighborhood. Trees can increase the property value of your home by 15% or more.

RIDING VILLAGE, South Sumatra: Illegal land clearing in Indonesia has been the primary cause of transboundary haze that has blanketed neighbouring countries Malaysia and Singapore.

However, farmers continue to use slash-and-burn techniques despite health and environmental hazards.

Sofi, a farmer and rubber plantation owner for 50 years, admitted to burning down the trees on his one-hectare rubber plantations every year to clear the land. He said: "I burn my land so it's easier for us to clear the cut tree branches. The small branches are the parts that are burnt. If we don't burn the land, it would be very difficult for us to replant it with cassavas and bananas."

It took only two hours to burn the land, compared to weeks if he were to remove the trees using machetes and shovels. But Sofi created firebreaks and monitored the fire closely to prevent it from spreading to nearby lands. He blamed the fires on peatland for the haze and said fires on normal ground die out faster.

Sofi, though, was not doing anything illegal. According to Environment Ministry laws that protect the traditional rights of small farmers, they are allowed to use the slash-and-burn technique for up to two hectares of land.

Instead, it is the plantation companies who have abused these laws. As they are banned from any amount of burning, commercial businesses are paying small individual farmers to use their land to grow crops before burning the land under the protection of the existing laws.

"We're working with the police to enforce the law,” said Yusrizal Dinoto, head of the South Sumatra Disaster Mitigation Agency. “Police on helicopters would patrol areas and take immediate measures to arrest suspects, whether it be farmers or plantation company workers who burn land."

Using excavators to clear the land is an alternative but it is also costly option that few independent farmers can afford.

"Burning to clear land is important for local farmers,” said Iswadi, a Forestry Ministry firefighter. “They need to clear land manually before they can replant rubber trees. They don't use sophisticated equipment so the only way is to burn land."

The small-scale farmers Channel NewsAsia spoke to say clearing land by burning has been a long-held local custom and they plan on continuing the practice until the government can offer them a better option.

The ‘RCB Grand Plantation 2014’, which started for beautifying the entire cantonment with greenery, is progressing with great enthusiasm. A large number of cantonment residents are responding to it in a big way. The campaign was launched to add more than 100,000 plants in the cantonment.

This was stated by Rawalpindi Cantonment Executive Officer (CEO) Fahim Zafar Khan while talking to this correspondent here on Monday.

The CEO informed that the campaign comprises two sub-campaigns. First was named ‘Aik Aangan Aik Poda’. For this campaign, Pine, ‘Amaltas’, ‘Chinar’, Guava, ‘Kinnow’, Lemon, ‘Raat ki Rani’ (Cestrum), Alstonia, Bougainvillea and other plants were planted free of cost in houses, offices and at roadsides.

He said that well trained staff of garden branch of RCB were engaged to accomplish the job. These professionals were ordered to approach the houses, offices, schools and colleges etc to ensure proper plantation and to apprise the residents how to take care of these plants.

According to Fahim Zafar, till date 35,000 plants including 1,000 ‘Chinar’ plants, 10,000 Alstonia plants, 10,000 Guava, 5,000 each of Lemon, ‘Kinnow’, Pine and other plants have been planted. As many as 20,000 plants were planted in houses, 5,000 each to Army units and formations, 500 plants to Station HQ, 3,000 to multiple educational institutes and 1,200 plants were given to Chaklala Cantonment Board. Moreover, 6,000 plants were planted along roadsides.

Four vehicles equipped with 20 fully trained manpower and necessary equipment are taking part in this free plantation campaign. Residents don’t have to pay any money for the plants or for the plantation services.

He said that the second campaign, named as ‘RCB Grand Tree Plantation Campaign 2014’, was started with a commitment to plant trees and plants to beautify and uplift the whole Cantonment area. More than 85,000 plants have been planted during this campaign.

These plants consist of Bougainvillea, Pine, Jambolin, Guava plants, Alstonia, ‘Raat ki Rani’ (Cestrum), ‘Nunthra’, Bumentia, Citrus fruits and other.

This campaign also started on 14 August and is still continue. Multiple teams of trained staff are engaged in this campaign. Construction of roadside planters is also a part of the same campaign. Peshawar Road, Sadar, Westridge, Chur Chowk, Race Course and other areas were uplifted during this campaign. The teams are working day and night to speed up the process.
