Study says double masectomies do not improve breast cancer survival
Lumpectomies have better survival rates

WMTW News 8's Tracy Sabol reports on a new study that found that double masectomies, or removing both breasts, will not improve survival rates for a patient who has cancer in one breast. Women who had lumpectomies, or the removal of a turmor, followed by radiation treatment had better survival rates.
