Bigg Boss 8: Salman Khan stores surprises for fans
While few months ago Salman Khan was not sure whether he would be hosting the 8th season of popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, he is now officially part of the new season and has began appearing to promote it.
A new teaser of ‘Bigg Boss’ has been launched and in it Salman is seen asking the fans about the theme of the new season. The teaser features Salman in a pilot’s uniform and he asks the fans’ "Agar bata do kyun karne aaya hu mai aapse bhent, to main samjhunga aapko great. But don't be late, Because hum start kar rahe hain straight." The previous teasers have shown Salman Khan in his pilot’s uniform and flying a paper plane. People are guessing that it is a hint that there are several surprises in store for the show’s viewers this season.
This is the fourth time Salman Khan is returning as the host of ‘Bigg Boss’. During the last season of the show ‘Bigg Boss’, Salman Khan had faced criticism for openly supporting two of the participants Tanishaa Mukerji and Arman Kohli. The criticism irked the ‘Dabangg’ actor so much that he had warned his fans that he would not host ‘Bigg Boss 8’. So far the producers of the show are tight lipped about the participants for the new season. As per reports, Salman's former ‘girl friend’ Sangeeta Bijlani, and actresses Minnisha Lamba and Maryam Zakaria are likely to be part of the new season.
Salman is currently outside the country. Sources have reported that Salman Khan has left for Los Angeles, USA for his routine medical check-up. A source says, "The actor has gone to Dubai from where he will travel to Toronto for a show and then to LA for his routine medical check-up." Back in 2011, Salman Khan underwent treatment for trigeminal neuralgia and also a brain aneurysm. Since that time, the actor has been advised to regularly go to LA for medical check-up.
The source adds, "It is an annual medical check-up that the actor has gone for… He will go to Dubai from LA on September 8 and then return to Mumbai on September 13." This means that this year, Salman will not be in Mumbai during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Salman is known to celebrate the occasion with enthusiasm.
Once he is back in India, Salman will start shooting for the episodes of ‘Bigg Boss’, which goes on air next month. The source has further informed that, "After this, he will resume shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's film, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, on September 23. As it happens, the sets of his show and his film are quite close to each other".
